Mitch Hanks, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS
Mitch received his Exercise and Sports Science undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from East Carolina University, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical assessment, therapeutic techniques, and patient care. After completing his doctoral degree, Mitch was accepted into a sports residency of rigorous didactic studies and clinical experiences inside and outside of the clinic, culminating in successful completion of another national board exam and 200+ hours of mentoring with sports venue coverage. He now blends his experiences and current research to provide highly skilled physical therapy, which he tailors to meet each patient's specific needs. With extensive knowledge in common injuries and treatments, he uses his certifications in dry needling, strength training, and endurance sports to give clients more than the “run of the mill physical therapy.” He provides an unprecedented level of care, from small aches of pain to post operative recovery, he is truly excellent and one of the best providers in the area.
In addition to his clinical work, Mitch is passionate about endurance sports, educating patients on injury prevention, wellness, and long-term health strategies. He takes a holistic approach to care, focusing not only on immediate recovery but also on empowering patients to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle well beyond their treatment.
